Applied Power Microelectronics Co., Ltd. ("APM") is a semiconductor technology company dedicated to design, manufacturing and sales of power and analog integrated circuits (IC). APM was established in March 2012, headquartered in Changzhou, China, and has wholly owned subsidiaries and R&D facilities in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing and Los Angeles. APM’s core team is from Silicon Valley, which has accumulated a wealth of industry experience in globally well-known semiconductor companies (e.g. Motorola, Ti, Maxim, Skyworks, Semtech).
APM’s industry-leading proprietary technologies and innovations combine circuit design and modeling, together with advanced wafer process and packaging technologies. Our vision is to become an industry leader in power semiconductor including power discrete and power management IC (PMIC). We are striving to implement our vision by developing industry-leading high-performance power and analog IC using our proprietary technologies. In the meantime, we develop and maintain close contact with our domestic and foreign customers, deeply understand their needs, and strive to provide them with most valuable solutions. We will relentlessly invest in R&D, constantly expand product lines and application fields, and keep us ahead of our competitors in terms of technology and product performance.
Our product applications include consumer electronics (smartphones, tablets, HDTVs, set-top boxes, etc.), computers, telecommunications, industries, security surveillance and automobiles. Our high-performance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) product series is leading in key performance parameters such as leakage, capacitance, and clamping voltage. Our Si-based MOSFET products cover a voltage range from 20V to 800V, with an industry-leading low RDS (on) and switch loss. We are developing 1200-1700V Silicon Carbide (SiC) MOSFETs, which can be used on electric vehicles (EV), green energy generation (PV and wind), industrial motor drive and uninterrupted power supply (UPS), which will make us a leading domestic supplier of power semiconductors.

Our R&D team consists of many well-experienced industry talents with Ph.D. and Master degrees, who returned from oversea with direct working experiences in leading globally known semiconductor companies (Motorola, Global Foundries, TI, STMicro, Intel, Skyworks, Semtech, etc.).
We have developed over 300 high-performance circuit protection, power MOSFET and PMIC products, 90% of which have entered mass production. We believe to be one of a few domestic power semiconductor suppliers with independent IC design capability, comprehensive product portfolio, and superior product performance.
Our product portfolio includes circuit protection, power transistors, power management IC, diodes and small signal transistors, RF and wireless IC, providing customers with best application solutions. Our products are widely used in handheld devices, consumer electronics, network, security, computer, IoT, industry and automobile.
We are committed to 3rd-generation compound semiconductor (SiC/GaN) MOSFET and HEMT devices, continue to develop specialized process platforms, and strive to catch-up and overtake our competitors and win shares in the global market.
